The United States faces difficulties in education across the board. Not only are our students spending less time in the classroom and with their books; all across the country many children never even have the opportunity to go to college.

The Serena Williams Foundation aims to create an atmosphere that fosters education and provides the resources and financing kids need to continue their education past high school.

The foundation gives high school kids from around the country grants, helping to send them to college so they can learn a trade or learn enough to start their own company. Additionally, the foundation is building a school in Senegal to allow kids to go to school for free and give them chance to be the best they can be.

The Serena Williams Foundation plans on expanding and you can learn more in the coming months. There is so much we can and will do. But if we all just help one person, imagine the impact we could make.
